These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of DragMate, a personalized digital desktop companion sold at dragmate.com. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. What We Offer

DragMate is a downloadable desktop application featuring an animated character personalized from a photo you provide. Each purchase includes one license to install and use your personalized DragMate on your own computer.

2. Pricing & Payment

The current price is displayed at checkout. Payment is processed securely by Stripe at the time of purchase. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

3. Delivery

DragMate is currently in early access. After purchase, we personalize your character and email your download link within 1-2 weeks. We'll keep you updated by email if timing changes.

4. Gift Purchases

If you purchase DragMate as a gift, you (the buyer) are charged and receive a receipt, while the recipient receives an email with either an upload link (if they're providing the photo) or their download link, depending on the option you choose at checkout.

5. Your Responsibilities

You confirm that any photo you upload is either of yourself or that you have permission to use it.
You will not upload photos that are illegal, infringing, or that depict anyone without their consent.
You are responsible for providing an accurate email address to receive your order.

6. Intellectual Property

DragMate's software, character designs, and branding are owned by us. Your purchase grants you a personal-use license to your personalized character; it does not transfer ownership of our underlying software or artwork.

7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

DragMate is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your order.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the app for any user who violates these Terms, including uploading prohibited content.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of DragMate after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
